These tunnels were built before the factory, with well over 2 miles of area covered, this is a huge network. During the war, Rover used part of the tunnels as a makeshift morgue from the blitz above. Years after, workers refused to go down the tunnels as rumours of ghosts were rife throughout the company. Maintance drew the short straw and had the least popular overtime shift in Rover.
